Eggs Kejriwal is named after Mr. Devi Prasad Kejriwal, a Jain Indian man. During colonial times he would come to his favorite country club in Bombay and order this egg and cheese sandwich without his family’s knowledge. The eggs had to be buried under a mask of melted cheese. The dish become so popular that the club named the egg sandwich after Mr. Kejriwal. Use a cheese of your choice – we recommend a sharp cheddar or raclette.

Ocean Masala Roasted Oysters
Here in Houston, we have the luxury of giant plump oysters fresh from the Gulf Coast. These are best roasted in the oven and with this ocean masala on top, make for a tangy delicious appetizer with wine or a martini. Here simple mashed potatoes made with ghee and yogurt, as opposed to the more traditional butter and milk, are topped off with pop masala to not only add a crunch, but a burst of flavor.
