On a plane in India this is the first thing the airline crew will offer you. Indians love their ‘sweet lime soda’ as it is typically referred to. We substituted honey for sugar.
Makes 2 cups
ingredients
2 limes
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons warm water
Soda water
Pinch of sea salt
Ice
instructions
Squeeze the juice from the two limes into two glasses.
Drizzle one tablespoon of honey into each glass and pour some warm water over it to just dissolve the honey.
Pour soda water, stir, add ice and serve.
notes & variations
Use simple syrup to replace honey and warm water.
